Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Kedoss ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including property owners, property managers, and residents.

2. Account Registration

To use the Platform, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. User Roles

The Platform supports three user roles:

• Property Owners — Users who own properties and use the Platform to manage rent collection, tenants, and property managers.
• Property Managers — Users hired by owners to manage properties on their behalf. Managers must complete KYC verification and maintain an active subscription.
• Residents — Tenants and occupants who use the Platform to view payment history, apply to listings, and manage their tenancy.

4. Service Description

Kedoss is a smart property management platform. The Platform provides tools for managing properties, tracking rent payments, sending automated reminders, overseeing tenants and managers, and connecting owners with managers through a marketplace.

Kedoss does not facilitate or process rent payments. Tenants pay property owners directly via bank transfer or other methods outside the Platform. Kedoss only tracks and records payment information for transparency and accountability.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Certain features require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually through Stripe or Paystack, depending on your location. Prices are displayed in your local currency. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the end of the billing period.

Boost purchases, credit pack purchases, and other one-time payments are non-refundable once the service has been delivered.

6. KYC Verification

Users may submit identity documents for KYC (Know Your Customer) verification. KYC is required for property managers to appear in the marketplace. Submitted documents are reviewed manually by our team. We reserve the right to reject applications that do not meet our verification standards.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false or misleading information
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure
• Scrape, mine, or collect data from the Platform without permission
• Impersonate another user or entity

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on the Platform belong to Kedoss or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

10. Limitation of Liability

Kedoss is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the preceding 12 months.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable laws.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
